Alma Arkansas is located in the beautiful foothills of the Ozark Mountains, along the Arkansas river with interstate 40 and 540 crossing the city limits. Alma is only minutes from Fort Smith and Fayetteville, Arkansas. It provides residential living in a relaxed environment and maintains the natural beauty of the area.

Alma offers several churches for you to choose from. Alma also has several medical facilities with three hospitals all within a 20-mile radius.
Shopping is made easy at Alma offering a variety of stores and still only minutes from Historical Downtown Van Buren, Central Mall in Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville.
Alma has its own community water park; is the home of Eagle Crest, one of Arkansas’s finest golf courses; and the area offers boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, swimming, softball, baseball and tennis.
There are several campgrounds and larger lakes within a 100-mile radius of Eagle Crest along with the Arkansas River, Clear Creek, and Lee Creek just minutes away. The neighboring cities of Van Buren, Mountainburg and Fort Smith all have wonderful city parks with swimming pools and lots of play areas for kids.
The Alma Area Chamber of Commerce, established in 1984, is a voluntary organization of business and individuals working together for the betterment of Crawford County. The Chamber is governed by an eighteen member board of directors and is staffed with an executive director and volunteers.

To achieve our mission, the Chamber focuses on the four elements of a strong chamber: business development, economic development, tourism and quality of life. It is through the work and participation of Chamber members that we strive to be effective and support our members.
• To promote business, education, agriculture, tourism and the superior quality of life in Crawford County, Arkansas.
• To voice an opinion on behalf of our members, and in the best interest of the community, to our local area elected officials.
• To provide to the community a group resource to gather together and to address issues which affect all aspects of the community.
